Blue ATC Swap

The theme for this swap was Blue. I pulled out all the blue I could find and used the precious little boy vintage photos from Collage Stuff. There is also a fine layer of mica used on the bottom stamped in white ink for a neat dimensional effect. Enjoy!!! ~Heather

Hollywood Premiere Birthday Party Cake

Emma just had her birthday party and the theme was Hollywood Movie Premiere. After searching for a cake to go witht the theme, we decided I better make our own. I bought all the stuff, used fondant to make the stars and diamonds and then covered the actual cake in fondant. I had never used fondant before but found it fairly easy to work with, kind of like play doh! We added silver balls and shooting stars and the even painted the edges of the pieces with silver lustre dust. It took 4 days to make and love how it turned out in the end. Enjoy!!! ~Heather

PS: I have no plans of making another cake like this anytime soon...LOL :)
